The upcoming Detective Pikachu movie has received a second trailer, giving a look at a few more Pokemon designs, and a glimpse at some new parts of the story. Warner Bros. also provided the final movie poster for the film, shown below. Mewtwo is featured at the end of the trailer, indicating that he may perhaps be the antagonist. Detective Pikachu will make its way to theaters later this year, on May 10th.

Considerably more disturbing than I would've expected though. If they wanted to, they could easily re-use most of these Pokemon models in a horror movie.

Not sure what you are saying here so...

A) I doubt a PG-13 rating for this movie, would keep most people from bringing their kids.
B) Not just kids want to watch this movie, so a PG-13 rating is a nice middle ground.

When they first announced this movie I thought it'd be a trainwreck, and now it's the second movie in about a decade that I really want to go to a theater to see.
