i have deleted the mii channel and so on if i reset the wii to factory defaults will they come back

don't know that for sure but you could try to use dop-mii (http://code.google.com/p/dop-mii/downloads/list) if there's a program that can fix it for you, this should be it.

Use the NUS downloader to download the Mii channel then install the WAD on your Wii.

Use Wiimod then. You can download the Mii channel off the NUS with that tool as long as your Wii can connect to the internet.
