No because your console does not have 3DS Sound, and the cart update does NOT include browser or Nintendo 3DS Sound. Updating to 11.2 with a cart would be a bad idea as you wouldn't be able to do anything on 11.2.

You were already told what to do so why are you ignoring the advice? https://3ds.guide/get-started-(old-3ds) based on this page your only choice is to find a game cart that has 6.0 update and then update to it. Then, you can use MSET exploit to hack your console provided that you also have a DS flashcart.

So unfortunately the only way to hack your system is to fork over money for a 6.0 game and a DS flashcart.

I wonder what exploit option would be most viable for his situation, because couldn't he also get Freakyforms deluxe plus a 9.0-11.2 cart to update? It might be an option quicker than getting a DS flashcart, albeit more expensive. It's something to keep in mind, I guess. Do correct me if I'm wrong.
