Decrypt EBOOT to make a patch?

Hi.

Trying to make a translation patch. I can't get the EBOOT.BIN to decrypt.

DecEboot doesn't run on windows 10 even with compatability turned on.

I tried the eboot.bin that ppsspp dumps but when i open that in a hex editor there is no text in it, at least no legible text.

Using astrogreb to search the other files for text pops with no results either so it has to be in the eboot.

Any ideas?

Thank you! I'll try this.

Because the more I look at the files I had, the more convinced I am that it isn't the correct text. The lack hiragana is a dead giveaway.

I guess the better question is: if this is the correct decrypted file, how to figure out the text table so that I can read this correctly?

It'll be in either Shift-JIS, UTF-16 LE or UTF-8.

Not all games use the same text encoding, so you'll have to just figure it out.
