Deciding to pick up a DS.

Hello everyone. my story is a sad one. I had my PSP stolen from me right out of my hands while I was on the bus...

I have since decided to default to (or from depending on your views) the dark side. I am quickly becoming a Nintendo fanboy. I used to own a PS2 and a PSP, now I own a Wii, and am about to buy a DS, and a Edge DS card (for homebrew only of coarse)

I am venturing into a world where gameplay matters more than graphics, and great games are abundant.

I am grateful to join you all on this journey

You should really get a DS it's a really good system with good support unlike the PSP now.

Such as an AceKard 2, a Supercard DS One, or a CycloDS.

Not a school bus, but a city bus, and he ran down the isle and snatched it from me, I tried running after him but it was like Usain Bolt stole my psp. the mf-er was fast. but look at it this way, I wouldnt have a DS if my psp hadnt been stolen, and um...since im clear on the rules now, hell yeah piracy! woo!

and I live in Las Vegas. I know...not the best place to whip out your psp...

Welcome to GBATemp, and don't listen to the others pirating is bad. At GBAtemp we "borrow" and use "backups". Don't worry about getting your PSP stolen, it was for the better anyway. I mean there is a reason its called the Playstation PORTable, cause everything on that shit is a PORT. That is why I sold mine and got a DS.

However their are rumors of a new DS coming out in the new year. So if your patient enough I would wait it out and play your Wii for the time being. Just in case the rumors turns out to be true.

Welcome to GBAtemp and welcome to the world of Nintendo I use the Supercard DS ONE and love it! I also have a SuperCard SD for extra RAM although I want to get a new one that will fit my NEW lite, because now it doesn't fit in my nice travel cast.. *sigh*

Anyways yeah you should get a DS Lite it's an amazing system and have better games than the PSP. As said before, it only have PORTs.
