EA press website on the release date for Dead Space 2 adjusted. We have fortunately not too long to wait, but for now the new release date of February 4, 2010 has become. The reason is we do not know. When more information is available we will let you know.

Your mom is going to hate this
I hate there crappy advertising. For a game rated M why are they targeting such a low age.

I'm looking forward to the release of Dead Space 2 for the following reasons.

1) It's a great game, I loved the first one but felt Isaac could be better as a character.

2) My dad's still going through his childish need for shiny shit so I get the full game without ever expending a penny if I wait for about ten minutes.

3) I watched my little brother playing the demo the other night. He properly cacked his pants. I want to see how badly he messes himself with the full game. It's a good job I won't be paying for it since I'll in all probability need to invest in air freshener and plastic wrap for the sofa when little bro comes to visit...

Its rated M in the US which is 17+.
I googled and apparently it is rated pegi18 in Europe.
Then I don't get why you said 'why are they targeting such a low age'.

Yeah and I don't think you'll find any games rated for older people ('AO' isn't really different to 'M'). At least I haven't seen a game rated 'EP' for Elderly Person.

Have you not seen the your mom would hate this ads?
What 17+ or 18+ person is gonna be like oh my mom is not gonna like this its so cool.
Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKkPFDEiC6Q...yer_profilepage
Edit2:I meant the advertisements were targeting a low age compared towards the people the game is targeting.

Its not the ads that are rated it is the game. At gamestop in the US if you want to buy an M rated game you have to have and ID showing you are the correct age.

Imagine if they advertised other products this way. Cigarettes your mother won't like this. Alcohol your mother won't like this.

My sister is 13 and already got REALLY drunk and smokes too....
But explain what you said:
QUOTE"I meant the advertisements were targeting a low age compared towards the people the game is targeting."

BTW, I've got a gameshop in the Netherlands where I will never go again because you also have to show you're ID which is effing bulls**t because 16+ and 18+ games are usually the best games (like CoD, GoW, GTA, not saying other games with lower ratings aren't good)
That's why I go to a gamestore where you don't have to show your ID at all, they don't care about your age, and it's also much closer to my home.

The advertisements seem like they are for 10 year olds when the game is 17/18+ which is an age range where you are an adult and who cares if my mom hates it.
