Hello I wanted to know if there were any USB compatible DDR Dance pads for the Wii? My gf bought those new Wiis without the Gamecube ports and we didn't know DDR dance pads were using gamecube ports.

    Thanks!

Sure, just buy one of the DDR Wii game pads, those obviously work. You can find them for around $20 I think.

I am not sure how a DDR Wii game pad will help me in this case?

Be wary of 3rd party multi-platform dance pads; I had one that could not register a left+right or up+down simultaneous step; it registers the presses one at a time and throws off your combo. It had this problem on both the gamecube and the usb (had to turn xbox to usb but that wasn't hard.) I still use a really old xbox pad (turned usb) I think the Wii dancepads are wired to gamecube, but not certain

So you are telling me WII will support USB dance pads without any need of custom IOS?

If I'm not mistaken, only wireless and GC Dance Pads will work on the Wii, and some games might not even support the GC ones.

I believe the wireless dance pads use a gamecube port receiver, to be DDR Mario Mix compatible.
