Sorry for the necro. Got this issue today for the first time. It was fussing every couple of files. Fixed it by switching from Switch->External (1tb WD Elements) to Switch->Internal (2tb HDD) Hopefully that can give people a lead on getting around the problem themselves. I'm recopying everything now in case there's a data mismatch on what I thought succeeded.
