Excuse my lack of knowledge of terminology but I'm sure you'll know what I mean.

In dbi when trying to install a certain game. Dbi mentions firmware
Is that the switch firmware?
Because I thought I cannot update the firmware otherwise I can't load this rooted operating system. This happens when I transfer the game directly to the switch internal memory

Something has changed since I last used dbibackend without a hitch.
Because now when I run dbi on my pc windows 10. I chose files and start server... Just like before.
I then run dbi on my switch but it just doesn't connect. On the pc it's forever looking for the switch

I possibly may have forgotten another step? Or maybe something else has changed idk. But I would appreciate any help

Only managed to get one new game to install by transferring it to switch first then installing. (Paper mario) 3 others mentioned old firmware

Hey,
try to use the latest version of DBI and dbibackend.
if that still doesn't work, maybe consider updating your atmosphere + hekate and lastly your switch firmware with daybreak. I usually just use DBI with a USB cable connect directly to the PC, run dbi, press X to enable USB transfert and drag and drop my backup fie to either SD install on NAND install.
