Hacking Daybreak failed to setup update

Beginning update setup...
Failed to setup update.
Result: 0x00000402

Im trying to update sysnand from 12.X.X to 16.0.3.
I have the newest Atmosphere and Hakate, so that's not the problem, update files are good, i tried multiple, tried choidujourdx, but that crashes, tried redownloading daybreak, but still nothing.
Checked in a lot of places, but I didn't find this exact error code or any solution that works.
Any help is appreciated!

Download the update files from Darth.

Do you even get a update info screen where it say everything is OK?

Also, make sure you run in full ram mode and not applet mode.

Can I rule it out any way? I guess if nothing works i'll copy everything over onto a new sd card

Download the update files from Darth.

The files are from darth, i get the info screen, it says it's ok, and it was run in full ram mode.

I would check the sd card then.

if you wanna test if it's fake, h2testw.
I would else do a chkdsk /f /r /x on it

chkdsk says it's ok
h2testw only checked 13 gb, but it said its ok

Did you ever got it solved? Im running into the same error. Saw a other tread on gere with the same error but no luck there.

Test the whole card with the card being empty.

different firmware versions from dartsternie even tried a original firmwaredump from my own switch.

I tried to use AIO installer, but still unable to install the firmware.

Tried to use Choi but that one crashes as well (different versions of it).

Hmm, very odd. I would open an issue on the github if so: https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere
Remember to give as much details as possible!

Normal it's just broken firmware files that cause the error.
