Hello guys, I'm currently testing some solution about heroes savings problem. Actually I've ran cfw, started a new game with a new hero, get 20 minutes into the game just to be sure ho have something to save, backup the game with checkpoint and this is the current situation on the sd card. I've tried with airplane mode ON and also OFF but seems that checkpoint doesn't save any heroes.

Has someone got the same issue?
Thanks
I don't have a heros file. It's all in the accounts file afaik.

After Editing, open the heroes folder and check if you have .dat files in there, something like random 3dsdf78b094d745b.dat, that would be the character file. If it's still there, you're good.

Account.dat contains exactly that, the shared account data, from stash, paragon level, etc. The individual hero files contain the data on specific characters, like level, GR finished, gold, etc.

Yes but if I backup my saved game with a new hero with checkpoint I should can see a random file.dat on hero folder. This before editing account.dat.

The problem is that the backup save doesn’t have any hero saved in, you can see it from heroes folder missing and from the dimension of the files

So you mean, even before editing, your back up is already missing the dat files in the heroes folder? If yes, then the problem lies in the checkpoint side of stuff.

Exactly, as you can see from the photo that I’ve uploaded to my recent reply the heroes folder is missing, and this before editing. Do you know any homebrew similar to checkpoint that I can use to fix this issues? Thanks

That's weird, never happened to me, tho have you checked if you had the right account when you Back-up from checkpoint? Because sometimes admittedly I accidentally choose a different account.
Anyway, maybe try if Edizon works?

Is it possible to run Edizon with sxos 2.4?

I can't seem to get this to work. I installed Python 3, then when I open the D3Edit.py (which now has the python icon and says Python File), a black window opens and instantly closes, and nothing happens.

adding some legendary items such as gems (gem of ease and Wreath of lightning) adds them as normal items without the orange background. Is this me doing something wrong or the editor just adds it that way?

As of now they appear as normal items, but the game recognizes them as legendary, hence why you can upgrade the legendary gems, or take a legendary item you added to your game and convert it into a legendary power with kanai's cube (if applicable).

Issue is after adding, i cannot edit the gem's level. One that has been obtained from a drop is editable though..

I know a few people are having some issues with this. Is there a step-by-step guide on how to do this?

Also, a little confused how people are editing and then playing a seasonal online character. To my knowledge you have to go online an initially create a seasonal character. Won't the game/switch ask you to update your firmware thus messing with ability to load CFW if you're initially using OFW to go online? Atm I'm thinking I have to use 2 switch consoles. 1 CFW & 1 Vanilla OFW.
1. On Vania OFW switch load diablo 3 and create a seasonal character.
2. Load save game to cloud.
3. On Hacked switch on OFW download your save to console from cloud.
4. Switch to CFW and use program to rip save on to sd
5. Take SD and load it on to computer and use save editor with python to mod various variables.
6 Put SD card back into CFW switch and have program restore save to console
7. Swap back to OFW and upload save to cloud.
8. Go back to Vanilla Switch and download save from cloud and go on diablo 3 online with modded save.

Is this right? Because, I thought even if I swapped to OFW on hacked console once I tried to boot up a game it would want me to update firmware which could prevent me from swapping back to CFW. And I wouldn't want to go online with game with CFW because I would get banned.

Also, once the file is edited from the people who have already done this correctly do we get OFW diablo 3 to recognize the edits? From previous comments, once you restore OFW Nand it ignore changes you made.

6.2 can be hacked already! :)

what i do:

Load CFW
Load checkpoint to back up save
Plug sd card into PC
Edit data and save
Plug sd card into switch
Load CFW and restore save (while disabling emuNAND)
Complete power off
Load OFW
Play season

Did you have an issue once you loaded back to OFW the modded save loading with the changes? Because the last 2 pages it seems like people are having issues after they edited their save and restoring NAND to OFW the modded save changes not applying.

Also, a bit naive, but you can update your OFW by default means and it not interfere with adding or booting your CFW? Because with past systems like 3ds they'd warn against updating firmware because it could disable CFW.

How? Once you load OFW it reverts all files back to the original? How are you getting this to persist through the restore? The only way I can think of is you have to inject the checkpoint saves into OFW before you load the OFW back to the switch.
