Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Position the cursor in slot 000, 001, 002, 003, or 004, press right to go down one page. You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Hacking D2PRO on the latest wii

Hi, I have a wii which is the latest 1 d2c 2 serial LEH193.... so i was wordering if you can use a solderless chip on this right but which one would be better a solderless or the solder.

Also I heard that when u put the wii clip on the circuit it can damage the pin on the board or something like that if the installation isnt not done carefully and also if the clip is removed it will not damage the circuit board and can reinstall without damaging the pins. so for this wii d2c2 the d2pro is the correct chip to buy right.

yes you need d2pro chip, all d2pro9 version can now be upgraded to support d2c2 drives.

i'm not a fan of clips, i only solder the chips, its only 9 wires of which 3 are to small points.
