Hacking D2C Key Question

I was just wondering, I read somewhere that the D2C key, when patched, works flawlessly with Super Mario Galaxy as opposed to the wiikey, which encounters problems after a while, is this true?

True, D2Ckey plays SMG without the need to apply extra updates whatsoever.

The D2C is different from other chips in that instead of just injecting the crack code it basically replaces the chip completely fooling the wii.

Which is also why there are a shit ton of more solder points.

ooh, well that's good, i might just switch to a D2C key cuz wiikey has really been a pain, i read on PSX Scene that 1.9g causes wii to eventually fully brick after a little while, if thats wrong please reply, (save me some money

That's not how it works, you'll also need a wii with the required chipset.
