Hacking D/P freezing

pokemon takes longer to save. if you do more stuff in the game for example you play the game for 2 hours and then save someone whos played for 4 hours and saves will have to wait longer for the saving to finish.

Actually, if you do anything that is Box related ingame, it'll take you longer to save your game ("Saving a lot of data..."), but if you do something like berry watering or battling, it'll just save within a few seconds.

Pokemon never freezed at my DS i use a Japanese Kingston 1GB
Well one time it did freeze when i was using the walk anywhere cheat dunno wat i did wrong but i knew it was my fould because i stept in something maybe to far in the black zone

I have tried pearl on two r4s. my first one, which was one of the first batch of r4s, ran it very well. i think it crashed maybe once or twice, but then rebooted no problem.

I tried it on a different r4 recently and it crashed CONSTANTLY then ate my save. I managed to salvage my pokemon using pokesave, but lost my progress.

This might have been caused by one of three things that changed before the crashing

1. new cart (most likely)
2. r4 1.08 software with the cheats and stuff (maybe)
3. quake ds being added to flashcart (i dunno, maybe? don't see how that would happen unless it screwed my savedata somehow)

so if it's crashing a lot FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BACK UP YOUR SAVE

its most probably your memory card. in my case it was i got new one and its finee

i havead a bit of crashing with 1.08 with only one cheat dat file (before i had about 3) 1.07 yet to crash might get 1 card for D/P with 1.07 and one or 1.08

Did you fill your microsd card to the brink? or did you leave 50mbytes of free space left?

What happens when you do that?

I have tried 1.07 and more crashing i am tempted to import a copy and get a real US cartridge i live in the Uk so i would have to wait untill July

then i would transfer it all over i am really annoyed with it now all other games work fine except D/P
