Hacking CycloWiz Update Coming - This week.

I don't understand all the fanboy behavior either. I bought a Cyclowiz, and was a bit dissapointed about the fact that three games didn't work or had problems. A lot of Wiinja owners saw this as a possibility to praise their own chip and to say that Team Cyclops sucks.
In my opinion every possibility to play way to expensive games for free, is worth praising. It is true that the Cyclowiz had some problems that shouldn't be there, but when they can deliver the update as they stated, why bottering about the problems.

I hope the update stops a lot of threads from changing in to flaming on Maxconsole, GBAtemp, Cyclowiz and Wiinja. You can state your findings about the various chips in multiple threads that are ment for those statements
This thread is about the update that is coming. It isn't about the biasing towards products are the Wiinja being better...

what i want to do is test the wiikey, the wiinja DX, and the cyclo and see whichone i like the best i have 3 wiis and 2 chips so far

Only response i get via email is soon...soon...soon. Looks like it might be time to order a wiikey

I will be very suprised if this actually appears, I have the Cyclowiz v1 and currently have no issues apart from the slow down of games such as Wario and Dragonball Z. If an update is released I am not sure if I will bother to open up my Wii, install a switch etc.

It aint coming, they're just trying to get some last buyers in. Watch it not be here by monday, then watch them say "soon" again, thier new moto should be ...."Soon"

*Saturday now, Still no sign, i wonder if it counts as false advertising by saying thier chip is upgradable when it clearly isnt....maybe they havent recieved thier wiikey yet so they cant rip the code and put it in thier own update*

I think they've proven now that they cant update the chip. I wonder if i can get my money back because they've falsely advertise something, they said its updateable but quite clearly isnt

To get more people to buy it, of course. They are only in this for fast money (which maxcuntzl have shown) I think.

They said february first, so they lied anyway. And I really don't expect an update to be released at all.

Well, even with the update it's not as good as a WiiKey, so it wouldn't be reason to buy it anyway. But I think maxconsole indeed had like 5 news posts about the update coming soon only (with buy links ofcourse), so I guess it should help them anyway...

They said february first, so they lied anyway. And I really don't expect an update to be released at all.

They did not say feb 1st, they said the first update will come at the end of February. They then said the end of this week which is today. So depending what date you hold them too, they are not that late. Like most everyone, I do not like to be told a date then have that date broken, but everyone just needs to have a little patients. Let them do it right and not push something out the door that is going to brick my chip because a few vocal people were impatient. We bought first gen mod chips, we all knew what we were signing up for.

I meant, they first said that the date would be in february, guess what february is over...
And if they don't want to rush of the shit they shouldn't say it comes soon all the time...

Hmmnope, but you could use the updates from SuperCard on it, because it was a SuperCard clone...

Can't wait until the wii modchip becomes stable state, right now it's still fresh and need improvements.
