Hacking Cyclos DS on 3ds Help?

I created a post about how I wondered if my Cyclos Ds flash cart would work on my CFW 3ds. This is the response I got.

IIRC, the CyclosDS had a header. Which means that it should work with this application

You do need a CFW for this application to work. Without a CFW, you can't get your card to work on the 3DS.

I installed the .cia of "twl slot 1 launcher", but when I have my card in and run the program it tells me that an error has occurred and that I need to shut down my system. Can anyone help?

Latest version of Luma, and yes the card works on the NDS.

Does it autoboot or have a header? It's seriously been years since I've seen that cart.
You may have to make a comment on that thread to get that cart working.

I know, the card is old and from what I have seen, not very popular. But yes from what I've gathered it does have a header, and by auto boot do you mean on the NDS? If so then yes, I even have it set to autoboot on the NDS.

P.S: Love the location on your profile, I'm a huge green day fan as well and when I saw it I just had to comment on it!

First, you are the first person to notice one of my Green Day references. Congrats~
So when you boot into into the DS, it shows like an icon with a title? Auto-Boot I mean like the R4/M3 Real where the cart lacked a header, they simply booted the system directly into the cart.
I suggest making a comment on that thread, there might be something I am missing since I lack that cart myself.

Wow I'm surprised I'm the first to notice, and thanks for all the help. From your explanation then no it does not auto boot on the 3ds but works on the NDS from what I've heard from you. Don't use TWL Slot-1 Launcher. It's ancient and won't work if your old flashcart uses incompatible arm7 code/ram entry points. Besides twl slot-1 launcher was designed to get around Home Menu's DS Cart White list check which Luma CFW patches out now so it's completely obsolete. Hopefully this will boot your card:

Don't forget to setup a nds folder on your 3DS SD card and put this file in it:

https://github.com/ApacheThunder/NTR_Launcher/blob/master/nds/ntr_launcher.ini

It will allow you to configure various options NTR_Launcher has available.

Good to hear you got the CycloDs cart to run. That was my cart of choice way back in the day
