Gaming cwcheat and pops

I've been fiddling around trying to get cwcheat to work with my psx games. I tried editing the game.txt file to include 'ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheatpops.prx' and made sure it was enabled in my recovery, but whenever I try and load it up holding select while in my psx games, nothing ever happens. The cwcheat works fine for PSP games, but I can't get the damn thing working with psx games, and I know that it does. So wtf is going on?

Any help would be appreciated. Been scratching my head at this for days.

Read the readme, look at the directory structure of the install folder in the download and the pops.txt file.

there is a pops.txt in the sepligins directory which you add that line 'ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheatpops.prx' in to get cwcheat working in pops.
