Is this the right place to ask for help with theme uploading? (sorry im a noob lmao)

Anyways, I'm having trouble with theme selection. I'm running a cfw Old 2ds from Korea with the latest luma3ds. When I try to get a theme on themely, I'm given the "Failed to open SaveDate.dat. Try selecting one of the default themes on the home menu settings before trying again."

However, my 2ds doesn't have the theme selection option available, as shown here. Checking nintendo support, they tell me I have to update my system.

My 2ds is fully updated to the most recent update, at 11.4.0-33K. Is there anything I can do to get the theme management functionality at all?

It says I'm on the most recent update. When I installed CFW, i didn't have the theme function as it wasn't updated to that level. After updating, it still doesn't have it. Do you know anyone who knowas anything about this?

Does Luma3DS block certain aspects of updates? It could be that it blocked the updates that added the theme manager.

That's not possible. Have you tried updating again? I know it's the latest firmware, but perhaps doing it again may help. Other option is formatting system memory.

One of the options in System Settings is to format the system memory, that way you go through initial setup again. Either that or install TinyFormat.

What does the setting do? Will it delete all of the CFW that I put in the SD card?

It doesn't remove anything on the SD card, definitely doesn't remove CFW, but you'll have to reinstall FBI and apps. Do you have a NAND backup? You could restore one where the theme selection's available.

Alright. I have a NAND backup, yes. How do I use the backup?
