Ehh, I barely noticed the top being squished, when I pan it on my 3DS it looks better and it looks like Ariel's holding whatever game you're playing. Every theme has something that is flawed or we don't like (it depends on the individual). For me I just wished the theme looked endless like the Viva Pinata one did.

When I have time (probably tomorrow or so, I'll update it to give it an endless effect + remove the stretch).

Yes you can. They install to the home menus default theme settings.

I guess I should show you guys what I've been working on. Here's a bit of a tease, and for those of you concerned/wondering he's not naked and his lower half is blocked so this really shouldn't offend anyone (especially if you're a girl).

I bought the Dreamcast theme for my 3DS LL the other day and was inspired by all the nostalgia, so I just completed this Shenmue theme with BGM, sound effects, and folders!

The BGM is the main menu music and I added the nostalgic "Press Start" sound effect from the title screen as a sound effect for opening the 3DS and launching an app. Unfortunately that's pretty much the only sound effect I could get a hold of. I found a package with miscellaneous Shenmue sound effects, but they're pretty bad quality. If any Shenmue fan here can rip the menu sound effects from the rom, then I'd be glad to make a more complete theme!

I made some really neat custom folders inspired from the main menu options. The closed folder is blue while the open folder turns red, just like when you highlight an option in the original game. Also, a game's/app's banner looks nice on the top screen.

I will make a new post just to be sure. It notices. I fixed The Little Mermaid Theme. I figured it was too stretched at the top, and the pan looks much more realistic, + Ursula now *winks at you, (ohh shivers).

i suck at this ,i'm using 3ds theme editor, afraid to use YATA

here is an attempt at a scrolling weed theme,super weed bros delux,based on hanufuda maybe someone can fix it if i upload the files, sound volume is too low for some reason and wiid logo not centered
also be nice if someone could add some SFX bubbling and coughing ,coughing for moving the cursor and bubbling bong for selection made , or better yet
make it animated

If I had a choice right now I would ban your ass on the spot for this. If your going to promote it, promote it in your own time also have you ever stop and thought how old or who may be watching this forum, its not sending a great message out to others is it??? proper stupid man in my opinion!

My point is I have children, one as young as 7 that look at this thread for themes to put on there 3DS and I don't want to think that is the right theme to have on there 3DS that kids use a lot! Which also in turn they take to school with them, it does not look good for me.

You can't see what your kids are doing 24/7 and if that is a remark to say I am a bad parent for letting them view the thread without control, then please don't go there because you obviously don't know anything about me or my children or when or what I choose to do with them, that is my decision entirely!

Either you've raised your kids to steer away from weed or you haven't. Do you not trust them to make wise decisions? Are you the internet police by day, helicopter parent by night? Either way, there's far worse shit on the internet, accessible with just one google search and a click (Try it. Google search "videos of animal abuse" and you'll probably get some nasty stuff), for you to worry about this OBSCURE 3DS theme file being a negative influence. If you want to be so sheltering, you might as well drive your kids to school blindfolded so they don't get any ideas when you drive by a gas station that advertises that they sell Bud Light and Coors.

Also, Weed is more legal now that piracy is, and since there's so many people on GBATemp talking about Sky3DS and Gateway, I guess your kids shouldn't be on this website anymore since that's encouraging them to break the law - "Hey kids! You can get all your games for free but mommy won't buy you the thing you need to do it! damn it feels good to be an adult so I can do what I want."

My understanding is that only the pirated /official themes are available in CIA format. Not sure what the fine details are as to why the separation. So you won't be getting any CIA themes on this website, but you could try that other ISO website >_>

Apart from you ranting on about complete bollocks at the beginning of your comment, you cannot compare a gateway/sky3ds card to drugs that ruin thousands of peoples lives every day, that is the most stupidest incompetent comment to come out with ever! A Gateway card you can enjoy, drugs destroy!!!

Edit: I just wanted to mention I wasn't trying to ridicule anyone who takes drugs, that's entirely up to themselves and what they want to do in there own time, its just I don't like to see people promoting any sort of drugs when especially its to do with a 3ds theme when mainly 3ds's are aimed at the younger generation i.e. children, I just don't think its a good thing, that's all!
