Homebrew Custom Theme Thread

Hello, I installed a theme CHMM tool on my n3ds 9.5 emunand but it froze and now I can't access to my emunand . It freezes right after i launch into emunand. how can i fix this? It worked ok with other themes.

If your emunand is 'bricked' you'll need to reflash a backup over it, or create a new.
I'd try booting a couple of times just to make sure though.

You also tried installing a chmm.cia right? Did you do anything else, like uninstalling titles?

Yeah I used the cia. No I was only messing around with themes that I downloaded from that famous iso site.

Hm. Well the themes overwrite the files on the 3DS, so i'm pretty sure you're emunand is screwed, and you'll need to create a new or restore a backup.

I have a backup but is there a way to manually overwrite the files CHMM changes?

I injected my emunand backup but wtf? still the same theme? and it freezes again?

It's probably broken cache. Search for "Nintendo 3DS\<ID0>\<ID1>\extdata\00000000\000002ce" on your SD card
(last one can be 000002cd or 000002cc, depending on your region). Just delete that extdata folder (only 000002ce, not the whole extdata) to clear themes cache.

I was just looking at my extdata, wasn't sure if deleting would make things worse or not though. >_>

It definitely won't make things worse, that cache will be recreated if you delete it.

Can someone please help me with this? Im trying to open a theme to edit it on 3ds_ThemeEditor but everytime that I load a file (no mater what theme I try to open) it open the last theme that I edited.

Alright 2/3 of the Themes are done!

I had to cut down the music on both to keep the quality from dropping drastically, but there's over a minute on each.

I plan to work on the Senran Kagura theme a little later!

I'm more than willing to test that one for you too. If you want to find another way to send it to me I'll check it out and create some screenshots before you upload to 3DS themes.
