If im on Rev 8 should i even bother with updating? Last time I tried to go a rev higher (Rev 9 to be exact) I got banner bricked and had to use preloader to reinstall Rev8. Note I dont use the USB loader. I'm a disc loading kinda guy so I was just wondering if its worth it for me and my friends (whos Wiis I have also modded).

Any chance of a new cioscorp with rev 12 on it instead of the old rev8?

i think you would need a rev 12 wad to do that. Where are we gonna get that unless waninkoko decides to release it.

Thanks so much Waninkoko! Yer a pimp!

Just installed using Network method successfully with no issues.

I was hoping this would fix my Medal of Honor:HEROES 2 issue..harrumph..is there a workaround for this yet?

How did you manage to banner brick your wii installing a cios? Were you trying to install it via a wad instead of the normal installer? If you don't have any problems loading anything on rev8 there isn't really much need to update anyways, but if you or any of your friends DO want to use a usb/sd loader then you should at least update to rev9. (Preferably through network install through the installer and not a direct wad installation.)

Not sure if this has to do with a new build of USB Loader GX or this new IOS rev12, but now games on my NTSC Wii that needed a disk like Metroid Prime 3 and Deadly Creatures, work without a disk!

Can anyone with a classic controller test out Monster Hunter G? I want to know if it works now, but I dont have my classic controller with me.

Honestly, why even bother with CIOSCORP anymore? It confuses the BootMii installer and USB loading is far superior to playing games at 3x speed from the disc channel anyway.

My thoughts exactly.

Everybody loves it though because they get a hard on for seeing it loaded in the official disk channel.

Do you not remember what game you put in the wii that you have to see its official preview to remember?

Plus i would say most everybody using cioscorp already has the backup gamma channel installed already.

Bigger hassle then it worth i think but thats just my 2 cents.

WAD Created: IOS38-64-v3610.wad

Having a mismatch is OK. It basically relates to how some files are padded in order to allow AES encryption/decryption to work. Files not aligned to 16 bytes are padded with 0x00 bytes until this is achieved, and then encryption is done. However, the size stated in the TMD relates to the 'useful', before padded size. Having a mismatch simply means that TMD vs actual size differs, which is quite common.

As long as the download completed successfully, a mismatch isn't anything to worry about.

Well, I got it installed now (via WAD Installation), but the only thing I had hoped was fixed wasn't. I was hoping to get my headset working with Rock Band/Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero freezes on the initial loading screen (any help with that?), and Rock Band doesn't recognize it.

It is illegal to post that WAD on here.

Lol. You unwittingly retained the link when the original poster, Unfortune, has already removed it.

Oops, so did I.

when i install rev12, neither port recognizes my HDD in my loader. suggestions? everything worked fine with rev10. i want to use my rock band mic.
