Hacking Custom IOS38 rev 14

I'm going to try a different loader. I've heard GX might have some problems with r14 but I haven't confirmed it.

I leave WiiConnect 24 off because I don't want Nintendo to updaete while I sleep (I have no proof that they would, just paranoid).

this rev made my hdd to stop working... i was previously in rev 10... so i tried rev 12 and still not working... had to go back to rev 10

i hate not being updated but why does it loses support instead of gaining it :S

Make sure to have checked that your USB drive is plugged into the correct port.
After rev 10, I believe the port you need to be plugged in to became specific.

finally got Rev 14 to install,the weird part is that my kid upgraded yesterday from 4.0 to 4.1 and the installer ran great.

Any ideas why this maybe?

As far I can tell every body else was having issues with their USB loaders not the
installer it self like I was

I have rev 14 installed. Usb loader works fine, coverflow works fine, loading legit and burned discs from the disc channel it self is fine, I have had no problems. I am on a 3.2U wii.

Just an update. I reverted USBLoader GX to r630 and my controllers aren't loosing sync so it was my loader.

So let me get this straight? I have to go and turn error 002 fix on for a whole bunch of games now in USBLoaderGX?

No, just turn it on in the universal settings of GX and it will default on for all the games.

Yeah that's what meant. It seems to be ok if it's on even for games that don't need it.

woow thanks... it worked... i feel stupid... something as simple haha... i was used to connecting it to the same usb port and had my wiimote charger in the other one...

Yes. cIOS actually has been since... I think it was rev11.

i forget what rev i was on when i started, probably 10.
i had an older version of usb loader gx. everything worked fine.

i put a new dol of usb loader gx. new version worked fine.

i installed bootmii as a boot2
i installed cios rev14

usb loader doesnt work

went back to rev 13b, usb loader still doesnt work

just went back to rev10
it works again wtf

Did you try switching the hard drive to the other USB slot? Since revision 12, the hard drive will be detected if it is plugged into one USB slot (port 0), but not if it is plugged into the other slot.

I have the same problem,as long is i keep cios36 all is okay,when i switch to cios38 al goos wrong,it will find my hdd but (sometimes whit a timeout) but it say i can't find wbfs partition.It still there tough,if i format in cios38 my hdd is screwed and i can start over again,if i do it in cios36 its al okay. Do i have to set USBLOADER 1.5 to cios 38 if i install cios38 rev14 and if so, how???¿¿¿
