hey waninkoko, what do u think about the possibility of custom wii menus? i mean do you have the access to change stuff like that, or removing the welcome screen? something like that would be nice for your next release, high chance of brickage tho, seeing as you would have to replace the IOS30(or what ever the wii menu uses these days)

agreed. getting rid of welcome screens and wiimote strap warning screens would be appreciated.

Is the dumper supposed to take forever? I got about 0.1mb in 2 minutes.

@SoCalSRH - Aren't the warning screens on the discs? So you'd want to trucha them away?

I posted about this in another thread, but I don't mind posting it again:

It's probably your SD card, as I have a 2GB 40x card that matches the speed of the DVDROM drive (6MB/s). While I'm clearly not getting anywhere near 6MB/s(it's more like 2MB/s), it has not stopped once. There's a software issue preventing it from maxing out the speed of my card, but if your card is slower than the drive, then that's more of a problem.

Try doing a full format on your card before starting.

EDIT: And yes, the warning screens are on each title, unfortunately. I wish they could be disabled.

no theres one build into the wii when you turn it on, if nothing is pressed on the wiimote it will display for about 30 seconds or so,

Yeah... there's also one on every title.

QUOTEcan the ios37 file be downloaded from nintendo server using computer?

No, but TehSkeen doesn't seem to mind that it's being passed around on their forums.... even though they're more anti-piracy than GBATemp.

I can guarantee my 2gb card is fast, it's an official Kingston and works fine for everything else. I uninstalled the custom IOS, so I'll reinstall and test again now that I've fully formatted it. I don't expect it to work though.

Yep. Same speed again, I'm at 0.1mb. I suppose it could be the lead-in area, so I'll let it go a little more, but I don't think it's working. It's probably not very compatible with all sd cards.

What version is it? Standard? Elite Pro? Ultimate?

Also, how old is it?

You should download HDBench and see how fast it really is...

EDIT: QUOTEthx teq
and the ios can be found on which games?

I don't believe it's available on any game yet...

@Mizuho..... I wouldn't be so sure that it's the software..... since mine picked up right when I started it. It has yet to stop and I'm already at 600MB.

I had a look for HDBench, but I couldn't find it. I got japanese websites and such, but they only had some video clip software.

Try "HDTach", then.
