Dear Abdullah "I'll do it my way" Terro,
A community is:
- a group with common interests and ideals;
- characterized by sharing, participation, and fellowship;
- individuals who come together, having certain attitudes and goals in common;
- are considered collectively (a group), especially in the context of shared values and responsibilities;*
'Legal or Not' has become a secondary issue. I think what's happening is that you have moved into an established community and decided to live by your own rules.
If a housing community has an agreed rule in place that there is no loud noise after 10pm and some guy moves in and makes loud noises after 10pm he becomes conspicuous, if not annoying. Continuing to do so only because he wants to after the neighbours politely remind him of the accepted rules makes him a jerk.
This site seems awefully cooperative and democratic. What you want to do to 'help' and share with others may have an agreeable solution, if you are able to work with the community, as part of it, and not against it.
Of course, if you believe that there are enough interested in your efforts and prefer to 'Frank Sinatra' things, you could always set up a new community, say, MEAThead.net (Modmaster Extraordinaire Abdullah Terro)
