Cool thread! That list of channels is getting pretty big. It may be time to do some formatting and organize the OP for ease of use.

Awesome channels samsam you collected all in one great spot.

Is there a good working emulator for MAME and Coleco-vision to play on the Wii yet?

One of my favorite Coleco games is Jumpman jr, and of course I want to play Mr Do! Castle on the Mame, just hoping there is one around.

I read that the Sega Saturn is in the works for the Wii also.

Thanks Bumblebee

there is a mame emulator out, but its very buggy. no Coleco-Vision emulator yet, but i dont think it would be that hard to make. there is a Sega Saturn emulator, but it sucks ass. it can only run VERY simple 2d games at a playable speed, dont even try any 3D games, it will just crash.

I have a couple of questions about the emulators.

1) Since Coleco-Vision can be played on GBA, could it be possible to run it through VisualBoy advance emulator for the Wii??

2) I couldn't find this answer, does the VisualBoy Advance also play Gameboy & Gameboy Color games?

3) What is Depanbrew??

Thanks BumbleBee

1. im not sure, probably not.
2. yes, but for some reason it plays some games at slow speeds. i would use RIN for GB/GBC games.
3. a app i just found. i think it lets you repair from semi-bricks as well as other errors.

Thanks again samsam12, I'll use the RIN for the Gameboy games. And I'll just wait to see if someone could port a Coleco emu for the Wii, I wish I knew how I would be up on it..... but i don't!

Thanks again, Bumblebee

What is the difference between the GnuboyGX and the RIN Gameboy emulators??

Which out of the two is better with automatic saving?

One thing I noticed with Visual Boy Advance emulator, everytime you want to play a new game you would have to rest the Wii, do either of these emulators do that also?

Thanks again, BumbleBee

Which out of the two is better with automatic saving and do either go back to the menu when done playing a game, or do you have to reset each time.

Thanks again, BumbleBee

i have not used GnuboyGX yet. test it yourself.
