I cannot seem to get this to work, I dont have a exefs_patches folder in my SX folder. do i create one? and then add the folder to it? do i just drag and drop the folder itself? or the contents of this folder?

I don't think it works with SX Os. exefs folder is inside Atmosphere OS.
-Nevermind Page 1 says it does...

Do we need to re-create the logo for each firmware or Atmosphere version that gets released?
Or can we reuse the one we made despite of the FW/Atmos version?

I think the tools (earlier in this thread) were updated to work w newer firmwares but don't know the cutoff on which work/don't. But yeah early one's didn't work anymore.

Could anyone help with this logo? I've tried the recent python script but somehow ended with the errors below:
File "gen_patches.py", line 67
with Path(args.patches_dir, f"{build_id}.ips").open("wb") as f:
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

you need to make new ips logo patch for every new Firmware version same like the sigpatches
we dont know how these ips patches are created but when they get released both the script and the app that lets you make bootlogo ips patches get updated
not only that but most firmware version have different values for how to logo is centered on the screen you can see that in the script after the name of the ips patch if you rename old ipa patch with the new ips patch name it will work but the logo will be messed up cause the different values for center

Just replace any of the 57,856,172,342 unnecessary boot splash images that come with Atmosphere.

if you are talking to me i have replaced all bootlogos but that Nintendo logo is the one that i want replaced most of all the only logo i haven't replaced is ams fusee logo cause i like it
and i have no clue what are you referring with "57,856,172,342"

I'm just exaggerating how many boot splash screens atmos uses, it has like 4, and they all seem unneeded. They just slow the boottime.
