Homebrew Custom Badge Sharing Thread

I took two stickers from brawl and edited out the white are and re-sized them for badges. Here they are:
EDIT: I tried to remove some of the outline in turn of making the image look a bit sharper yet jagged.
DOUBLE EDIT: I added in one from ssbwiki, too.

Why have i not seen a single captain falcon badge? he is my man! (and my main in smash). Do i have to go make them? (I suck at art and making stuff. Closest thing i could do is maybe rip some of the stickers from brawl off and use those as badges). Heck, i even made an f-zero X theme (kind of a cross between f-zero x and gx, but with x music). I was hoping someone could maybe make a few badges from those games.

I've posted a Smash character pack which includes the Captain if you're interested... It's a couple pages back though and it's a .zip file so you'll need to extract it.

Tried making "mega" badges for the first time, and I think they turned out pretty nice
The set includes twelve badges featuring six main Vocaloids from the game.

Rin, Len, MEIKO, KAITO and Luka are 2x1, while Miku is 2x2.

1. get picture you think will look good. 2. resize picture to 64x64 or128x64 or 128x128 or 64x128 any multiple of 64x64 works (upto like 5 x64 i think.) save picture as PNG. give it the name you want the badge to have.

2. sure. if i'm not busy and can find good source pictures without having to look around too much. it's simple to do yourself though. google PNG transparent if you want pics with no background.

ok firstly, the max size of a badge is 64x64 and it needs to be BMP (use Microsoft Paint since you can export as BMP), the tool is here https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-custom-badge-tool.403597/. And this tool can remove transparency by clicking the background image in the right image

ok firstly, the max size of a badge is 64x64 and it needs to be BMP (use Microsoft Paint since you can export as BMP), the tool is here https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-custom-badge-tool.403597/. And this tool can remove transparency by clicking the background image in the right image

sorry your information is way out of date. GYTB uses PNG (and GYTB is the standard now) and it supports bigger images as long as they're a multiple of x64. it automatically cuts these bigger pictures in smaller 64x64 pieces.

depends if they're easy to work with or not. if i have to do manual cutting out of stuff then i'l pass (unless you want the background included of course). but if they're already transparent PNGs then yeah no prob. just specify what size you want them. 1x1= one badge square. 2x2 = 4 badge squares etc etc.

Would you be willing to upload your template? I want to change some of the Pokes for my own personal use.

Also, would anyone be interested in badges based off the mugshots from Pokemon Mystery dungeon? I have all the Gates to Infinity ones and I am working on getting the Super Mystery Dungeon ones. I also have all the Explorers of Time ones too.

Question - are we able to set badges to forward to non-system apps? IE I have Pokemon Y donwloaded, can I make a badge that links to that?
Also, what happens if I try to forward a mega badge?

no we can't. and try it? if it doesn't work just delete the badge.
