But honestly, it's the logical choice to make. It doesn't necessarily mean 3rd parties are stopping development either. I'd like to think of future GC games as a cheap alternative for small developers that want their stuff on the wii but don't require the fancy bits.

No skin off anyone in Australia's back. Most stores don't even sell Gamecube games.
I don't think anyone was even expecting any games to come out on the cube after Twilight Princess. If they want to enjoy the back catelog of cube games they can buy a Wii and give Nintendo even more money

I'm surprised there isn't a little more GC games coming what with the Wii accepting the discs and that I know there's still quite a few more games to come (more that Xbox in fact) but they are the usual slurry of licensed movie/cartoon games.
