Hacking CTRTransfer + SysUpdater

Hi, I just want to ask is it safe to change my N3DS LL from JP region 11.8 to USA 11.5 using CTRTransfer then Update/Downgrade the FW using Sysupdater with USA cias?

you can use 11.8/11.9 for the update. but quite frankly. 11.5 usa will not provide any bonuses to anything.

Once you CTRTransfer there's no point in staying on 11.5
Also you can update normally from the system settings

So u recommend me to update my FW to 11.9? How about bootntr? I heard it only support up to 11.6...

everyone recommends this . . . there is only one reason to have an older firmware and that is to use a gateway card

thats incorrect ntrboot supports up to the latest firmware (11.9)

Use BootNTR Selector instead, it's basically BootNTR but updated (with support for 11.9 too)
