If you're using NTR the plugin can be named whatever you want. As for loading it for all games, you may be able to put it in the SD:/plugin/game/ folder but that loads it for all games, including games that already have a plugin in their own folders (causing two plugins to be loaded).
Got it, will probably just leave out universal plugin loading from BOOTNTR section and just have it for the LUMA 3DS Plugin Loader section.

This method is also known as "Universal Plugin"(IMO) it runs the plugin on every games and even homebrew so we better disable the plugin loader everytime we want to open homebrew apps.
  • If a plugin isn't found in the tid folder, Luma3DS will search for ActionReplay.plg in sd:/luma/plugins/ActionReplay/ActionReplay.plg
Yea I got that, I was just mainly asking because if using normal luma and BOOTNTR instead of the plugin loader version. Was just checking to see if it's still the same old method of doing things, but going by Analogs answer I might leave Universal Loading out for BOOTNTR and only include it for Luma 3DS Plugin Loader.

Just want to ask for clarification... the 2nd place for plg file (quoted above) is the one called "Universal Blank Plugin"?
How bout the cheat.txt for a specific game using this "Universal Blank Plugin"? where should i put those and do i also need to rename cheat.txt?
thanks...

Yes, rename it into <TID>.txt and put it into SD:/cheats/

It has nothing to do with the boot.firm.

It's just a memory issue (not enough memory to display both game & home menu). Nothing I can do for that.

Also, can you please put your image in a QUOTE, it's way too big.

Trying the new version now, this seems to be really awesome. Much easier to customize and add/remove cheats, no more big ass lists of useless cheats. Good time to try out the codes made by the good folks at gamehacking.org.

Thanks for pointing me towards another site with codes, added it into my readme on my repository as an extra site to checkout for codes.

I feel like an idiot with this stuff. I was finally able to get the plugins to work with NTR CFW but it just outright refuses to work with LUMA. Every time I press Enable Plugins it just doesn't change. Is it because I'm on an older firmware?

Only works on 11.4 and higher.

Wouldn't being able to force n3ds extended memory mode (mode 7) help with that? Of course that would probably require making a mode 7 version of NTR.

It already does, there just isnt enough memory on o3ds to have ntr and home menu at the same time for extended memory games
