You guys are over analyzing the situation. The Wi-Fi adapter in the DS family is inferior to say the least, it sucks. I have seen many instances of the DS just refusing a stable connection when another one connects just fine. I've seen them literally just refuse to connect when signal is ample and other devices connect just fine. Just fiddling with the internet settings, power cycling and waiting is normally enough to fix it. I.E. delete all your connection settings, re-do them, clear the internet cache, turn it off and on then do the same with your router etc. Eventually it will work if everything else in your house does, including other consoles. I'm 100% sure ctr-httpwn has nothing to do with it.

It happened to me not long ago. N3DSXL and O3DS connected to the same Wi-Fi when I'm Wondertrading. All of a sudden I got a connection error on the N3DSXL and it refused to connect. I couldn't even get it to find the internet (It did find the AP), yet the O3DS was completely fine. It took me about 2 hours of tinkering to fix it (somehow?) but the O3DS never lost connection at all....... It was strange

Indeed, it sometimes just won't work just because.

Alright, I'm convinced that ctr-httpwn has absolutely nothing to do with it. This post helped me plenty, so I'll restart my router right away. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Add-on, you were right. My router was being poopy and a simple reset allowed my 3DS to access online again.

If you set your DS to a static IP through your router you will run into this problem less I've noticed so I'd recommend that too.
