I've heard you get faster speeds transfering Channels to your SD card.
Also something about the wii drive reads discs better.

For this idea, i hope you will not get any christmas present.

1. Not even a driver for 2.0 is out.
2. The Wii-USB-ports are 2.0, USB 3.0 needs new ports.

3. SPEED!!111 is not everything.

USB2.0 = 480MBit/s = ~ 50 MB/s
6x DVD-ROM = ~ 8 MB/s

You could get this info from google or wikipedia, so follow your own advise in the future

Ok guys so I am not the smartest guy and I probably should have looked up the DVD x6 speed first but:
