Crytek to Announce Major Project in April

'Tis a fairly slow news day today, with the biggest thing coming down the pike being a report about an upcoming announcement from the makers of the Crysis series. In an interview with CVG, Crytek's Nick Button-Brown said the company has a big gaming reveal to make next month.

"[The] project looks absolutely fantastic - I mean, genuinely the best of that kind of project we've ever done," said Button-Brown.

In spite of a new casual game about to release for mobile devices and a recent push toward social entertainment, this latest venture by the developer will presumably be another AAA console/PC title.

As much as I want another Timesplitters, I can't help but guess that this will end up being another tropical environment simulator.
