May I just drop a hint bomb... twice the grunt of a xbox360.
Grunt being the key word, think reduced loading times, read and write times, constant 60fps at 1080p or 1080i, increased buffer sizes etc etc etc.
It will be a lot better than what we have at the moment.
Noone wants to say 'the wii u is more powerfull than this console or that console' because it will reduce sales on those consoles for the next year untill nintendo release wii u.
I have it on good word that this thing is a powerhouse in a pretty box.

That's superb news! Another hint that Nintendo is really going in the direction they said they would go. A mix of regular titles with 3rd party selling games, fantastic!

It doesn't even seem like the WiiU can handle the Crysis engine.

Then you most likely haven't seen this yet I suppose?

Something weird happened when I tried to put this in spoiler tags, I dunno what happened.

I thought that they used PS3s and 360s for their presentations?

I'm gonna hate to see a Nintendo system filled with generic war shooters.
This is the only reason why I'm not too happy about 3rd party developers doing games for the U. The last thing I need is another console filled with mindless shooters and action games my 5 yr old brother can beat.

Consumer #1 - "Stupid Wii! Nothing to play other than casual crap!"
Consumer #2 - "Stupid WiiU! Nothing to play other than the hardcore gamer crap!"

Seriously, people are NEVER satisfied with what they get.

The consumers will get a standard videogame pad for the "hardcore games" with included motion controls, a camera and a touchscreen for the casual games - that's the best setup you could possibly imagine, and some people are still complaining about the games that aren't even finished yet for a system that won't be out till next year.

Oh, the humanity.

Nintendo will provide the same content as the Wii with maybe some Gamecube goodness thrown in, its going to be a good added mix of variety that's may achieve the same level of support that the SNES had.

I do feel that the price of the console is what is going to make or break this, must be on par with the competition.
