I too am having trouble running crystaltile (windows 7). There seems to be a problem with the roaming folder, I run the program from insided a zip/rar using winrar.

Can't get it to run in Windows 7, either. Hmm...

Update

It appears that for newer versions of CT2, you have to "register" your copy. When you first try to open CT2, a CrystalTile2.ini is made. If you open it, it has given you a user id. You're supposed to send that information to some email address. Beyond that, I do not know because I do not understand the language.
