I don't know if I want to buy this or pirate it...if I buy it I risk getting addicted to another online multiplayer FPS...if I start feeling the need to play two games for multiple hours a day I don't know what I'll do lol

I just uninstalled Crysis! Now I gotta reinstall Cysis for this expansion even though I found it to be dead boring... Because I want to see what they do to the aliens.

A) It doesn't require the original game.
B) It's not a sequel. It's a story that takes place on the other side of the island occuring at the same time as the original.

I hear it's got the securom security software attached to it. Please boycott this game and give it bad reviews whenever you can until EA gets the message about securom.

I bought it from Steam. Still downloading it with my slow connection. I hope it's good, the original Crysis was brilliant up until the aliens came along.

The aliens are annoying, I'm still playing Crysis, and I'm inside the alien spaceship where you find that daughter of that girl
And I'm out of ammo.

Let's hope I can punch the aliens to death

Give a game a bad review because of its copy protection? Pirate a game and not buy it because of the copy protection? - wouldn't this just encourage them to make stronger protection in the future?

Most games don't bother me with their protection at all. You just have to put in a key and put the game in your drive.

I'll check this out seems like a good game.

You can. Just change to the Power mode and it works quite well.

I went out and bought it a few nights ago. Not seeing that so called performance increase a bit but perhaps it's a little more noticeable on lower end machines. Gameplay on the other hand seems to be a little more brisk and paced a little better.

Well they move to fast, only way I was able to catch up to them was with the Speed mode.

Yep, just downloading on Steam. On 94% while it downloads at 30 KB/s though, so it'll take a while :\.
And yeah, it's a shame, I've been hearing a lot about how this big performance increase isn't quite so big.
Well, if I can get to High/Gamer on this I'm happy. My computer just about couldn't cope with everything on High last time around, but Medium looks far worse, so I was stuck with that.
