Really nice, [img]http://gbatemp.net/vanilla/emoticons/yay.gif waiting for this update!

I don't like how it looks any more.
I liked the initial look because it was clean and simple.

It's beginning to overshadow the main attraction, the covers!
Having skins in the background takes that away.

I think my point is very valid. Whether or not you see it my way is not my derogative because ultimately you are the creator of this awesome homebrew you can do what ever you want. I just want to share my two cents on the matter.

^Nice points

but I think of making badass themes for it soon (need some more ideas

)
I'll make sure that It's not "overshadowing the main attraction" XD

I wonder why DSCovered has never made it to the front page when some other homebrew (which are sometimes absolute pap) get there....
So True, sigh

Simple solution, white skin

Hi, I'm having a hard time setting this with Wood's firmware. I've downloaded the necessary files and renamed as instructed.

If I load a game using DSCovered it will created a .sav, instead of using the .nds.sav. If I don't use DSCovered, the .nds.sav is used as normal.

Valid points, but you can always make a plain theme and hide the clock/calendar.

I think you just have to put a post in User Submitted News about it and then...nope I have no idea. Maybe just post it there and hope a mod sees it?

Revert back to WoodR4 v1.07 until the source for woodR4 v1.08 is released. DSCovered has to use Xenon++'s modified WoodR4 (which is why you have to wait for the source of the latest WoodR4 to be released) and since Xenon++'s mod allows for autobooting and using .sav instead of .nds.sav, DSCovered uses .sav...
Since you are most likely using the latest WoodR4 v1.08, YWG doesn't seem inclined to change it from .nds.sav to .sav (I don't really care what the save files are called really) and thus it is still .nds.sav.

Thank you for the fast answer jurassicplayer. Yes indeed it is 1.08. I'll revert back to 1.07, then.

I think it's a bit counter intuitive to have two saving schemes; I'd be better to be able to use both DSCovered and WoodR4 to continue the same save, and not be bound to one or another.

I don't know why YWG didn't just implement .sav and autoload rom into the latest update. I'm sure Xenon would give him the code if asked.

I have emailed him about patching. But he hasn't replied to me.
Thus it can be said lang_jp update in 1.06 was done without a kind of permission. I have just informed new lang_jp

This is why I take a severe attitude for Acekard. I won't give new lang_jp until at least new nds.akaio.nds is released.

I almost added GBA support, but I ran into issues

1. I couldn't backup/restore saves properly (using ez3in1 code directly)
2. There is no online collection of GBA covers, only screenshots (I would rather covers)

Point 1 is obviously the most important.
From what I remember, neither ysmenu nor akaio will autoboot a GBA rom frown.gif

i was more wondering if you could make that a scds2 special feature once the sdk is opened up to implement

gba, snes, gb, gbc, coverflow, wouldnt you then be able to optomize the code and control of the system to make coverflow for those systems?

It might be possible, but I doubt they will release the gba emulator source for us to add the autorun feature, nor any other emulators I guess.

I had hoped to make a replacement for the dstwo.nds, but I can't load anything (with my loader at least) on the DSTwo. My idea would have been to either add shortcuts to the plugins from dscovered, or maybe port my dsi4ds, but like I said, my (very old) loader doesn't like to run anything on the DSTwo.

I'm fairly certain that even with as much useful homebrew as possible, it might not break 1000...and plus, even with 8meg games...5000 would still go over the 32gb limit xD, so yeah, 5000 sounds like enough.

If autoboot feature is really added I'll buy it and test my 3 loader libraries.
Well I hope you try favlauncher/favlauncher_bl/MoonShell Simply on your DSTwo
Of course try http://www.mediafire.com/file/uh3gdmybnhm/dstwo.dldi

#Updated just now

Forget what I said there, it seems I was wrong, DSCovered works fine as a replacement for dstwo.nds and can load regular homebrew and can load the real dstwo.nds, for now, that will have to do.

Skills Man!. I was hoping to buy a DStwo when I get my XL.

I just had an Idea

it would be great (If auto-boot is added) to use DScovered as a plug-in opening menu instead of the default one, the only problem being opening the GBA emu, it would look so much cooler than the normal one
