Coverfloader 1.2a (r975)

This is not a forwarder and loads directly from the system menu!

Enjoy!

Edit: This SVN revision allows you to return to the Homebrew Channel (1.0.5).

nice

I'll see if i can get my hands on the latest SVN when i'm on my netbook. Not that there has been much progress lately.

Also, i think the bug regarding the out of date game list needs sorting out as well as the bug which changes your settings and has everything loading from either the SD card or external USB device.

Are these things reported on the issues list?

LoudBob already solved this issue...

Please test CF_r976 and report...
When i get the chance i will make a channel out of this. Seeming as the issue has been fixed.

Edit: link removed

As like before, this is not a forwarder and loads directly from the system menu!

this thread kicks ass, thank you to all who work on this project and all who are keeping it alive, it is my favorite loader BAR NONE! again thank you very much.

oh yeah 1 small issue. usually when i click to activate the 3d covers it freezes. how come?

Only freezes for me if i go 2D to 3D and straight back to 2D or vise virsa
From one to another is fine, but not straight back again

r976 works for me (U v4.1) with no freezing problems what so ever.

but could you update me on the changes to each version. the only recommendation I have is to increase cover image size compatibility, or would this lag down the loader too much.

could someone post a build of revision 980? for me? please?

r980 has no benefits over r976 - we've just been making it compile with DevkitPPC r18

Ah, that would explain the wonky included mxml.

CODE
linking ... CoverFlow.elf
/Users/sayret/Documents/Code/wiicoverflow-read-only/CoverFlow/libs/mxml/lib/libmxml.a(mxml-file.o): In function `mxml_get_entity':
/Users/davem/projects/devkitpro/test/portlibs/mxml-2.6/mxml-file.c:1369: undefined reference to `__ctype_ptr__'
/Users/davem/projects/devkitpro/test/portlibs/mxml-2.6/mxml-file.c:1369: undefined reference to `__ctype_ptr__'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [/Users/sayret/Documents/Code/wiicoverflow-read-only/CoverFlow/CoverFlow.elf] Error 1
make: *** [build] Error 2

My user is "sayret" and I'm assuming one of you is "davem." Of course, this is easily solved by just removing the folder "CoverFlow/libs/mxml" when you compile and allowing make to grab the local libogc copies of mxml instead. I suppose this could also be solved by updating to DevkitPPC r18, but I haven't chosen to do that yet.

Edit: Forgot to add a link to r980 for those that want it. Keep in mind that according to fishears "r980 has no benefits over r976 - we've just been making it compile with DevkitPPC r18" so there's no real good reason to snag this.

Ok ... a little weird.
I'm running v4.2, and I'm also getting a stack dump from r976 (both wad and forwarding to /apps)
But... It runs just fine if I load from HBC.

Not sure if it's an IOS issue, or something in the build.

Thoughts?

Disconnect the nunchuk when you use the forwarder... this is an old bug...

Catweasel said:
Yup - I know about that one.
No nunchuk connected..

Opsss...
is your router busy in downloading something heavy for a pc?
I have dsi errors sometimes if my adsl router is completely involved in a download keeping all of the connection
