Just made the switch over to Cover Flow, as my other loader was giving me errors left and right.
Simply amazing!

I don't think I'll ever use any other USB Loader! Great work.

Okay I've got an issue. With B scrolling, I grab it but the games only scroll one way no matter what. Only to the left. I've got 5 or 6 games on an 8 gig USB drive. Also one more thing. I love it now with 3D covers and that you can press 2 to flip it over! But it would sure be nice if we could zoom in enough to read what was on the back. I mean, that IS the point of having a 3D cover that flips over is it not? Those are the only problems I can think of right now. The loader is great! I've been following its development ever since it showed up. Definitely the best out there and it still has room for improvement!

When you hold B, are you tilting/twisting the wiimote left and right to scroll? I don't get what you mean by "grab."

Oh crap thats what you're supposed to do? I have been pointing at the screen, holding B, and moving the pointer to the left and right of the screen. "Grabbing" it as is done on many Wii apps. Thats just what I'm used to i guess.

Hi,

we've now only 0 vacant place for "compiled-in" languages. (shown with flags)

We already have :
- English
- Dutch
- Danish
- Finnish
- French
- German
- Italian
- PortugueseBR
- Spanish
- Catalan
- MyLanguage (optional file on SD for all other languages)

If you want to translate and all characters of your language can be displayed with our TTF-font,
please PM me for details.

EDIT: Closed! The last compiled-in language will be Turkish by aHMET-

Thx

Hey. this is really a nice app..

But i have a big problem.

When i load some of my games, the screen gets black, and stuck here..

I Juse v.6 but have also tried the v.5

I Juse cios.rev.10

The games loads with the standard usb loader, without any problems..

I just wanted to add a quick thought. First of all the loader is amazing!

I originally had a lot of issues with crashes with both RC5 and RC6. I was using an 8GB SD card...

not sure if it was the size or what, but I reconfigured a 2GB card and it has been super stable since...

you guys might have already known that, but I've seen people experiencing similar issues to what I had, so I thought I'd chime in.

Thanks again!!

hmmmm.... im using cios10 also.... what firmware? i'm using wankiko patched 4.0u
I'm on 4.0u, updated through Waninkoko's program as well. I've never tried anything higher than cIOS_rev10, since I don't like what I've read about the newer versions available. Everything homebrew works flawlessly on my Wii, from emulators to Gamecube DVD-R backups, and I haven't had compatibility issues with any application until the newest batch of loaders.

QUOTE(Sledge1 @ Jun 8 2009, 05:51 PM) I'm still having issues with new version.. works fine the first time, until i download covers... then it crashes/exits to HBC and won't load again..
won't load past 'sorting game list' when covers are present
I have the same problem, and I've also narrowed it down to an issue with the covers. In my case, having a large amount of games (covers) causes the loader to crash to HBC almost instantly upon startup. Using a pen drive with a handful of games produces good results, and no crashing issues for me. I deleted the sd:/usb-loader/ folder, and started rev6 with no covers, and it functions perfectly. As soon as I downloaded a fresh set of covers, it crashes. I just don't understand how some of us get the crash, and some don't, even if they have more games than me.

On a side note, pressing 1 when a game is selected causes the loader to crash for me.

my last possible suggestion and then i give up

take a look in your covers folders and see if any of them are abnormally small.... i have had crashes with earlier versions because of corrupt cover art... 1 stupid corrupt cover it crashes... so if you see a file thats like 0 or 1 kb theres something wrong... other than that i dont know what to tell you... maybe take half of your covers and move them out to your pc... test... then swap them... test again... good luck

where can i find a forwarder for CoverFlow RC6 (r544) found in this thread: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=152074

im also not entirely sure how to set it up (the forwarder that is)

thanks!

i think i read on the last page that scognito is putting a forwarder in the next release... you might want to wait for that one as most
of the generic forwarders that are out are very bloated and dont match well

With the latest revision (r573) its dumping the second time through. This is not the cios issue as I tried in both 10 and 13 and the problem still occurs. Load a game, exit back to the wii menu load coverflow and it will dump if you try and load another game. Dump did not occur with other loader. Is any one else seeing this?

One other minor issue I would love to see fixed is the way the 3D covers overlap on the sides. It doesnt look right that they can get closer together then the width of the spine. The should really line up like books on a shelf not squeze into each other.

Keep up the great work guys.

Does anyone know how to add this wonderful app as a channel? I want this to be my one and only USB loader!

When USB Loader 1.5 failed on me, I turned to this one. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing, it actually works!

The following directions confuse me

:

Installing to USB Forwarder
1) Rename CoverFlow.dol to boot.dol and copy to your /apps// folder

wow, this looks like a damn nice tool! i'm going to try this. but can't do it now... my mother is watching television

Rc6 Now pressing button 1 takes me to HBC, Rc5 would show version info

My Wii Custom Firmware 4.0e, cios-rev10
I think we have button 1 set to take a screenshot at the moment - maybe your SD is write protected?

alot of the covers are not being downloaded. do i need to manually add them? if so how?

First, thanks for this awesome loader.

Finally got a hard drive that works with this and got it all up and running with this site: http://www.mikeandheth.com/games/109-store...tem-menu-4.html
From the link to cover flow I found this forum and have spent a couple weeks reading up on what to do and got it working last night.

SETUP:
- wii was at 4.0. Not sure if doing this in the link posted above reverted me some how "Run CMDVDX34 to downgrade your IOS and exit when finished"
- EXT HD is a seagate freeagent go 250gb Whole thing formatted with WBFS manager as one partition. Spindown set to never
- HackMii Installer v0.2 / BootMii public beta 2 / Homebrew Channel 1.0.3
- cIOS36_rev10
- CoverFlow RC6 (r544)
- used WAD Manager v1.4 to get a channel and replaced the loader with cover flow and it goes to the cover flow loader

ISSUE:
Having an issue where on some games it freezes while loading a game to the drive. Seems some games I can try a few times and it will work eventually. I know that sometimes the countdown hangs for a second or two and then goes, but I wait a good 30 minutes and it is still froze, hard power down, and I try again.

QUESTIONS:
1. Could it be that I am running cIOS36_rev10 and should upgrade to the newest version?
2. Might it be how I am getting into the cover flow loader from a channel?
3. I was messing around with cover art just a bit last night, switching to 3D and then the next time I came back it switched back to 2D. Maybe wiping out the cover art will help?

Only on my first day with this and read a good 20 pages of this thread. Trying not to ask lame questions. If you have any suggestions I would be grateful like I already am for this awesomeness you folks made.
