WONDERFULL !!!!
Thank you very...very much !

Now it is my default loader. Goo work...

Everything is working perfectly, but at the end of the list there's a cover of a non existent game. It shows 0.00 Gb of size, no name, etc... maybe just an array index problem (starting from 0 or 1)... It does not show on waninkoko ro coverflow7.

I also did not get this to return to wii menu using a forwarder I use to load coverflow7 or Ultimate. First my wii freezed, and then I got a code dump. Does anybody knows a forwarder that works with it ?

thanks.... again...
Alex.

i saw that too... im afraid to launch it to see what it might be...??? any ideas?

4.2 is amazing so far and here's what I got:

the white theme in settings didn't work (it might have on restart but as soon as i chose white all text turned black and the background stayed black)
and it forgets my setting of video mode - system each reboot of it (resets to game)

Are there any plans of implementing titles.txt? the disc naming scheme nintendo chose for their first party games (sports, fit, play) have them all falling alphabetically within the p-s area which is kind of weak.

using 4.2 LOVE it no probs what so ever... thou when on the disc load screen for a title... i wish there was a way to click the cover and the cover flips to the side to show the disc.... maybe the back side of the disc says some info on the game?

anyone made a launcher channel that looks coverflowish?

i use the forwarder this dude made (WiiLoadedF.wad) and edit the forwarder.conf to the folder your boot.dol is in and save the forwarder.conf to your sd:\config\ folder

Just tried 4.2b - works great! Covers downloaded and display fine (I only have around 25 games).

Just a couple of glitches that's probably been mentioned, a small amount of letters in the game title have pixels or lines scattered about them in both the coverflow view and the dialog box. The monospaced font isn't the greatest looking compared to the other font you're using in the buttons. Also, the pointer doesn't work when the nunchuck is plugged in. Pretty minor stuff.

Oh, I just got a code dump when I pressed A when the cursor was way off the screen to the right. Hmm I can't get it to crash when I try this again.

Very solid release!

id love to help if youd let me... ive got good ideas when it comes to this kinda stuff...

I just noticed that the reflections start as black and fade off - it should be the opposite: when you go farther down the screen or y-axis, the reflection should turn to black. Like this:

Also see how the reflections don't affect each other when they're on top of each other? Subtle differences.

Keep up the fantastic work!

QUOTE(sanoblue @ May 7 2009, 07:18 AM) Sweet... id love to do the Graphical stuff... not very good at coding but i am good with photo manipulation

not sure what else to do graphically; gitkua has been working with us on graphics so you can get with him and discuss ideas; or you can just come up with anything you want and we'll discuss it over on the googlecode page

WOW! Been following this loader for a while and have to say it is a pretty amazing piece of work! Tested the latest build, and have to say I would love to see just a few minor tweaks:

- Widescreen support: my covers look amazing, and I LOVE that you can zoom in and out, because I can get my covers nice and big on the screen, but it would be even better if they were not stretched out.

- Different Font: This loader is really something to look at, so if you could change the font a bit to compliment the overall feel of the loader, it would look even better.

Other than that it seems pretty solid. Launched a few games with no problem, but as stated before, the white theme doesn't work right yet. Also, I too saw the 'phantom game' at the end of my list.

Really solid work! I would love for this to become my default loader, and it looks like its already well on its way!

Thank you everyone that is working on this project, and keep up the great work! We all really appreciate what you are doing for everyone in the community. Awesome job guys.

of course it matters, it's wrong, technically not a good reflection unless done this way

anyone any ideas whats happening here?

i have the covers in the correct folder, correct size etc...but all i get is this when i put a cover in the folder for the coverflow.

thanks in advance!

Make sure you have cIOS rev10 installed, not rev9.

i have rev10 installed mate, does anyone else get this problem?does anyone lese get this problem with rev 10 installed?whats the difference with those who have it working and those who dont?is there somthing we are all missing?

cheers guys!

Are you guys using the included cover download option? Or are you manually downloading and setting up the covers?

im downloading them from a website and manually putting them into the sd card, the covers work in the 1.7 ultimate loader,i can see them all,but not the coverflow loader,so i dont think the pictures are a problem..anything else it could be?

hey chaps, just tryed v4.2, working great apart from ........

blank game cover on the end of the list to the right, not selectable, but not a real game.

The more you scroll from left too right & back again the slower the covers get buffered again. In fact by the time ive been up and down twice, covers in the middle stop buffering. I did not experience this problem when trying the BOOTLOADER from rev149. (im going to recompile this beta with the bootloader and check the differance & report back.

oh yeah, 1 small gfx glitch, went to download the covers through the settings page, I allready have all my covers by the way, whille it checked to see which ones it needed, the status bar was all in pink dots.

Anyways keep up the good work

****EDIT****

Just tryed the beta 4.2 source with the bootloader from rev149

still have un known cover on the end of the row to the right.

Buffer continues to load covers even on multiple scrolls from left to right

Buffer is still a little slow, but only when shooting through the covers as fast as you can go. Basically a lot better than v4.2 in that respect

hope that helps.

****RE EDIT****

Ok my mistake with the bootloader NO/FEW (not tryed all my games yet, the first 2 failed to load tho) games actually boot, but coverflow works better.

*******RE RE EDIT********

I have also noticed that if your using beta v4.2 repeated scrolling from left to right (maybe 5 times all the way to left & right) can cause the game selected not to load, no code dump, just sits there not doing anything & the wiimote is unresponsive

when scrolling to the left, the buffer loads the images "left to right", if you could get it to buffer from "right to left" when scrolling left, the lag in the buffer wouldnt bee so noticable. However im no coder & so i dont know if thats even possible.
so...
scrolling LEFT buffer "right to left"
scrolling RIGHT buffer "left to right" (as it does allready)
