So, my cousins said to me "If you can fix our psp to working order, we will give you 50 dollars."

I have a PSP 3006.
I had to trash the battery for my own safety due to the fact that it was swollen,
and the charger was missing.

Does anyone know where to find chargers for the best price?

If it is a PSP 3000 you should be able to charge via the USB, might have to set an option in the menu to allow it (if it is charging its USB read-write speeds will be lower).

Can a PSP be Charged via USB with a Flat Battery ?.
The PSP battery has to have some battery power remaining in the battery to use this feature. You must be able to turn your system on,that you can choose this option when going through your system settings. Always remember to charge your system before your battery runs flat. The new PS Vita is the only system that can be charged with a flat battery, the system has to be completely powered OFF to accept a charge via USB.

Ebay is probably your best option, you could check the bin at a gamestop, but I feel itll be overpriced.

Several possible choices there, none of which are especially tricky.

Borrow a charger for the duration.

Charge the battery in a powering device such that you can swap it out for this.

Be a cowboy and straight charge the battery such that it powers on for long enough to do the deed. Proper charge management will be necessary in the long term but by that point you should be good.

Insert wires directly to battery contacts or similar to power the device externally for long enough to set the settings.

Sadly the 3000 lacks the 1000's pads but if the bag of chargers that every electrically inclined person seems to have has an end that fits then it might already be 5V, and if not then it should be hard to fabricate something there.
