Homebrew Could use a bit of help

I have a 5.5.2 wiiu running base haxchi and well today I noticed the battery in my gamepad is badly swollen so I obviously quickly took it out and disposed of it though now I cant launch cfw or use HBL if I use a pro controller and hold B to boot cfw I just softlocks on the WiiU menu loading screen and if I use a wii Remote it just freezes any way I could load cfw without the gamepad while I wait for a new battery

tried this doesnt work I think launching haxchi with anything but gamepad causes a softlock

I cant load the homebrew launch at all even just having the default as HBL it just softlocks at the WiiU menu loading screen

Yeah I think im just goint to wait for my new battery for some reason the made the gamepad in a way where even when plugged in it will not function without a battery unlike most electronics like this
