Hacking could it be done

does anyone think it could be possible to emulate the wii system menu (NOT TO RUN GAMES) on the PC so wads/channels/homebrew could be tested
One big advantage would be you could see if your wii would get bricked
I might be thinkning of something that is totaly stupid but just had a thought and wondered what everyone else thinks.

As you can tell im new (total Noob) im not tryin to get anything made , i just wondered if it would be possible as the though poped into my head
just thought it would be a sweet piece of software to test stuff prior anyone releasing or having to use there own wii and prob bricking like i have done twice

That's something iv'e requested before...would be good, just run a wad through it, i mean we have WAD ID's why not a wad full checker....

thats it you have hit the nail on the head a WAD checker would be really good, not sure how it would work will read up about wads and see what there all about (i hate WADS).

You would have to look if everything is correct packed and dont use wrong compression methods.
Would need for sure some work in coding.
