I was playing layton 4, the last specter (US) and approximately 11 hours in, somewhere near the start of the chapter (I think it was chapter 9 or so?) I go to save and it doesnt go anywhere. The layton icons on the top screen keep moving, but the game is totally unresponsive. After 2-3 minutes (saves usually take 2-3 seconds), I power it off. When I power the ds back on, it tells me my save is corrupted and I have to start all over. Do you think this is some form of AP? Once you reach a certain chapter it will lock down on you? Using cyclods on a ds lite w/ latest firmware, using the US patched layton.
On a side note, is anyone that near the end of the game that would be willing to share a save file so I dont have to start over?
