This completely fixed a sealed copy of code name steam I got! Thank you so much for this. Had to run it through 4 times but it's working like a charm now

Hi! Thanks for the tool first of all!

I'm going through the, likely futile, attempt to revive this faulty copy of Persona Q I got sold as a working copy. It was pretty cheap so I don't consider myself particularly scammed.
Anyway, it's been like this for a couple of hours. Stuck at 0% but the current hash does change after some minutes. Should I perhaps let it run through the night or should I just give up already?

I think you running the risk of permanently damaging the cartridge is low, as it may very well already be dead like you suspect. That being said, maybe clean the cartridge with a fine cloth and isopropyl alcohol?

I'm not too worried about permanent damage since I can't play it currently anyway.
I'm more wondering if I should just stop it or just keep praying it works over night lol

As for alcohol, I didn't try but it looked VERY clean so it didn't even cross my mind tbh

Try the 100 refreshes version (which I just added to the github release).

That said, if it's stuck at 0% for so long, it might be a goner, unfortunately.

Hey, thanks for replying back.

I left it running through the night and it stayed at 0% but at least now the 3DS Home Menu is able to show the icon of the game. It now gets a "Game Card could not be read error" but that's better than nothing, I guess.

I just tried the 100 refreshes version and it's already a million refresh count and still stuck at 0% so my hopes are basically zero right now. I imagine Persona Q games with their factory issues are just too faulty to be repaired.

I appreciate the tool! Thank you!

thank you, the application is wonderful, many thank to you for make this, i have cartridge pokemon x facing the same issue THE Issue, intermittent randomly crash,
i've tried it, takes 12 hours, almost a day tried this running to complete fixing cartridge, next process is verify, but always failed, i've repeat the process 3-4 times, but my pokemon x seems to be working again, at least my cartridge can be used again

I have tried on codename steam, I run three times, some blocks I had to skip to finish it, but now it is loading the game and is playable, if it crashes in the future I will try to run again. The verify file fails every time, must be because I pressed Y to skip some hash blocks.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but I'm a total noob when it comes to this :') Could someone explain to me how I actually run the program? I asked before and got shut down and told to just ask in the original threat so here I am! Sadly "Run the program" is not enough information for me, sorry!

nvm I think I already have it installed! Is it the menu that comes up when I press select and then turn on the 3ds, right?
says at the bottom "Booted from SD via B9S"

Then havea look at the GitHub page. Just download the .firm file and put it into SD:/luma/payloads.

Turning on the console with that on SD while holding (Start) should show a menu afterwards.

That's the thing, I can't... find the .firm file on the GitHub page? Not sure if I'm just blind but I genuinely can't see it ;(
