Gaming Corrupted Animal Crossing New Leaf cart?

I tried using a NTR plugin for cheats and it corrupted my card. Is there any way to fix this? The game wont start at all, just gives an error message like 'The system had to shut down.'

Backup the save (and extra data if existent for Animal Crossing) with JKSM and delete the save from the cartridge afterwards (and the extra data if any). Normally the actual game cannot be modified. A corrupted cartridge seems unlikely to me, but I'm ready to learn if there are ways to corrupt (maybe Card2) games.
