Hacking Converting Pokemon GBA Hacks doesn't work

Alright, i wanted to play Pokemon Orange and Pokemon Quartz (for download type these into google.. and do you like a studio and pokemon in general? hinthint.. go to that site), but the converting via the Supercard converter doesn't work :/ It gives out a white screen with strange sounds in the background, both on VBA and on the real supercard cardridge (slot-2).
Disabling "real time save" works, but the saving doesn't. Pressing l+r+start or select+ a or b doesn't do a damn thing.
However, converting the original pokemon emerald worked fine.
I guess its having to do something with the rominfo.dat but i cant figure out how to edit this. Renaming/deleting the file leads to not being able to convert any gba file at all.
