Gaming converting firmware.bin to firmware.nds

i've seen these firmware.nds files floating around and was wondering if there was ever a tutorial to make them. i wish to do some testing @-@ i have a few firmware.bin files from various systems and would like to be able to try running them on various systems (and no$gba)
