No need to do that, just inject a header to your 3dz, rename it to rom.3ds, and proceed as usual. The header is part of the ROM I assume and will be included when converting to CIA format.

Cool. Since all of my online-play 3DS games are already properly converted to .3dz, I won't even need to inject the header, right?
Now that I finally got my EmuNAND.bin injected into my new 32GB SD card, I plan to have as many games as possible installed as bubbles, so I can have my entire game collection in my 3DS at the same time.
