Hacking Convert save files

Hello,
i have bought a R4i SDHC RTS 3DS card last week because of an update of my 3DS XL to firmware 10.6.0-31E.
I had an old R4i 3DS with the wood kernel on it before and my savegames are these with the “.nds.sav” ending.
I tried to rename it to “.sav” and also used different converter tools but nothing works – the savefiles aren´t recognized.

Can anybody help me?

You could go into options and see which save file your r4isdhc is trying to read. If you go on your r4i gold and click y, it will show save type. Make sure you select the right save type on the new r4

Where do you mean? In the Options menu i have no entry for savegame config...? I´ve the newest kernel V1.83.

Well I dont have an r4i sdhc. Im just assuming that you can choose what type of sav file the game will load, thats how it is on the r4i gold 3ds wood firmware.

You could try to format the memory card to fat32 and try to load the savs

It´s already in this format; otherwise it couldn´t be read.

Okay. Hmmm. Well theres gotta be a way to access options or settings for the r4i sdhc. Hover over the game and hit random button and see if you get into some kind of menu
